A Tale of Renewal and Collaboration
Originally conceived by Jonathan Ben in 2017, the company faced financial difficulties and was restructured in 2023. However, in 2024, Jonathan Ben embarked on a journey to revive his vision, relaunching the marketplace under the name OUENZE. Shortly after, Mike Yav joined the endeavor, bringing his expertise and energy to the project. Together, they embarked on a collaborative mission to empower Congolese artisans and reignite the spirit of entrepreneurship in the Congo.

First Purchase (2019)
In 2019, Tosomba's history changed forever with their first purchase - an essay from Equity BCDC. This moment marked their entry into the marketplace and paved the way for future growth.
Hard Time (2023)
Despite early success, financial challenges led Jonathan to drop the company in 2023, marking the end of an era for TOSOMBA and leaving Jonathan unsatisfied.
Rebirth (2024)
OUENZE is the new and improved version of all experience in the past. It empowers Congolese artisans and entrepreneurs with a renewed purpose and fresh perspective for an even greater impact.
